ePrescription

The Australian Government now recognise electronic prescriptions (ePrescriptions) as a legal method to access medication. Patients can present their ePrescription token on their phone, email, SMS or via a third party request.

An ePrescription token is a unique QR barcode that is received by your patient via email or SMS. The pharmacist can scan the token into Minfos to access the electronic prescription from an encrypted and secure electronic Prescription Delivery System (PDS).
